At the state track meet in Des Moines, West Burlington-Notre Dame standout Isaiah Trousil posted the fastest qualifying time in the 100-meter dash at 10.89. Mount Pleasant current stands in 3rd place in Class 3A thanks in part to Logan Murray’s second place finish in the 3,200. On the girl’s side, Danville’s Alyssa Pfadenhauer finished third in the Class 1A 400.
The Burlington High School boys soccer team fell to Davenport North 1-0. 10th ranked Danville-New London beat Mount Pleasant 4-1. On the girl’s side, Burlington beat Keokuk 8-1. Holy Trinity over Fort Madison 2-1.
