QUINCY (WGEM) — A Quincy man has been charged with theft of over $100 thousand from a local Adams County business.

Sheriff Brian VonderHaar reported that 29-year-old Joseph Scoggins was arrested without bond on Wednesday with theft over $100 thousand.

Police records show that in November investigators with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation on a report of an internal theft that had occurred at an Adams County Business.

Scoggins is logged in the Adams County Jail awaiting his first court appearance.
