Des Moines, Ia- The Iowa Department of Public Health on Thursday reported 305 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19.
The Des Moines Register reports that brings the total number of positive cases in Iowa since the start of the pandemic to 368,773.
5 additional deaths were also reported bringing that total to 5,994. The statewide 14-day positivity rate is 3.6%.
Hospitalizations increased slightly with 162 total patients hospitalized with 42 in ICUs and 19 on ventilators.
Over 2.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Iowa with 1,216,277 residents fully vaccinated.
