Gov. Pritzker signs bill to increase training and education opportunities

Springfield, Ill.-  Illinois Governor JB Pritzker on Thursday signed into law, House Bill 645.

TV station KHQA reports that this legislation creates the Illinois Future Work Task Force.  The goal of this force is to produce solutions to expand workforce development and training as well as apprenticeship programs and education.

The Illinois House and Senate passed the bill unanimously.  Pritzker will appoint seven members to the task force, taken from six separate state agencies.
