Burlington, IA- The Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a Burlington woman for operating while intoxicated.
According to a news release, on Sunday, January 14th, Des Moines County Deputies were dispatched to 5862 Hunt Road for a possible intoxicated subject attempting to drive away from the residence.
Deputies arrived and observed a vehicle stuck in the snow at that location. Deputies identified the driver of that vehicle as 62-year-old Roxanne Duffy of Burlington.
Duffy showed signs of intoxication and deputies started an operation while intoxicated investigation. As a result of that investigation, Duffy was arrested for operating while intoxicated 3rd offense.
