Burlington Police Department: man arrested on multiple drug charges

Burlington, IA-  The Burlington Police Department has announced the arrest of a man on multiple drug-related charges.

According to a news release, for the past several months, the Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force has been investigating a report of Jordan Blint manufacturing   Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) in the Burlington area.

On Friday, February 23rd, a search warrant was executed at 1113 South 3rd Street in Burlington, and authorities discovered evidence of a DMT lab, as well as large quantities of Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and Pharmaceuticals.

Blint was arrested and charged with outstanding warrants for No Insurance, Driving Under Suspension, Operation of a Non-Registered Vehicle, and failure to appear for Theft, and two counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance- DMT.

Blint was additionally charged with Possession with intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance for Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Deliver Schedule II Pharmaceuticals, Possession with Intent to Deliver Schedule IV Pharmaceuticals, three Counts of Iowa Drug Tax Stamp Violation, and Manufacturing a controlled substance DMT.

This investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are anticipated.
