Davenport, IA- The Davenport Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred Tuesday, March 12th.
According to a news release, at about 3:39 PM Tuesday, Davenport Police, Fire, and Medic EMS were called to the 7000 block of North Division Street, in reference to a crash involving a bicyclist.
An investigation determined that a pickup truck was traveling southbound on Division Street when it struck a bicyclist.
The a 27 year old male, sustained fatal injuries at the scene. The driver of the pickup, a 54-year-old male was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
Names are being withheld pending notification of family.
The Davenport Police Department Traffic Safety Unit is investigating the crash.
