Domestic violence call leads to arrest of Burlington woman

Stronghurst, Il- The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a Burlington woman on assault charges.

According to a news release Henderson County Deputies respoded to a call from a home in Stronghurst at around 9 PM Saturday in response to a domestic violence call.

After an investigation, deputies discovered that  26 year old Amber Breuer of Burlington had pulled out a gun and threatened to shoot her boyfriend’s truck after an argument.

Breuer was arrested on charges of Aggravated Assault and Posession of a Firearm without a FOID card.  She was taken to the Henderson County Jail.
