The Burlington Bees suffered their first loss of the season last night against Kane County. Bees fell to the Cougars 5-3 at Community field, despite a late rally. The game was the first win of the season for Kane County.
In High School Tennis, Burlington over Ottumwa 7-2. Notre Dame-West Burlington beat Maharishi 9-0.
In High School Soccer the Mediapolis Bulldog Boys beat Central Lee 4-3. Holy Trinity over Highland 4-2, Fort Madison beat Keokuk 4-0, Danville-New London beat Wapello 11-1. On the Girls Pitch it was Mount Pleasant Over Fairfield 5-4, Keokuk over Fort Madison 6-0.
In the MLB Brewers took down the Cardinals 5-4. Cubs beat the Reds 7-6.
